Our family recently put together a neighborhood food drive for a local food pantry. It was a really fun experience to do with the kids. Close to 40 families participated and we were able to donate 33 bags of groceries to Loaves and Fishes to be distributed to the poor. We drove up all the goods one day and the kids were able to see the food pantry and also some of the families waiting in line to receive help. It was a great experience for them to see a real need, and be able to help fill it. Thank you to everyone who participated- we appreciate your generosity!
