Last Thursday (May 14th) we joined one of our home school groups, the SMILe group, at the Oceano Park and Lagoon. We haven't made it out to many of the social functions recently, but it was great to see everyone and the kids had a blast. We had never been to this park before, and the boys loved feeding the birds, Savanna loved practicing her gymnastics, and even James got in the mix and played. Some of the boys from our group had homemade jousting sticks made from PVC pipes, pool noodles, and duct tape. Really cool. Brad especially was into them, and we will be making our own this coming week! Aside from the crisp wind, it was fun afternoon.
