Our little angel is getting so big! She is so happy and sweet- we are really having fun with her! She is just getting to that point where I am starting to implement a schedule with her. I'm trying to get her to nap regularly in her crib, doing little exercises to wear her out during the day (tummy time, play mat, music)- stuff like that. James' sister is a doula and made me a sleep training schedule. It basically consists of bulking her up during the day with longer feedings, a nightly bed time and routine, and an eventual elimination of middle of the night feedings. That will be fun! Night one went well. She loves the bedtime routine: A nice warm bath, a little baby massage, her comfy sleep sack, milk and cuddling in a dark, cozy room. Who wouldn't like that? She did well with the decrease in feedings during the night also. Fingers crossed on this one. I would LOVE to sleep through the night again. Can't remember the last time that happened actually!!
She is SO happy! And she laughed for the very first time on Thanksgiving Day- a deep chuckle. The cutest thing I've ever heard. We can't seem to get her to do it again though!
Emma sleeps with both her arms above her head like this- it's so cute!
