We left early Tuesday morning, dropped the boys off with Grandma Kathleen, and then went to the temple for a couple hours. James and I were privileged to do some work for our own ancestors at the temple that morning. Savanna watched Emma at the Visitor's Center, and then we went out for a quick lunch with Aunt Wendy.
Next stop, the Serrano's house! Oh, there is nothing in the world like holding a newborn baby. Straight from heaven, you can feel it! And Gabby is no exception.

I can't believe how much Gabby looks like Sofi! These comparison shots my Sis did really show the similarities. Amazing!
Emma was such a trooper being carted around and in the car most of the day.
In an attempt to get Emma to nap at my Sister's house, Heather tried swaddling her. She rather liked it (Sorry, reading Tolkien these days. I'm started to write/talk like hobbits!). But, she didn't nap long. :(
I had to share Gabby with Savanna, aka the baby hog!
Sofi came home from daycare early and we had a chance to visit with her. She seems to be adjusting to having another baby around pretty well. It's a big change for her but in a few weeks or months, she will never remember life without her little sister. Little sisters are awesome, if you ask me. ;)
"The Girls"

What a wonderful day! Congratulations Heather, Nelson, and Sofia! We know that Gabriella will bring your family much joy. We can't wait to see you all again soon!!

Which temple? It's a long drive from here to Fresno, our closest. Are you on vacation elsewhere? Sounds like you had an ideal day with fantastic childcare. :)
