Not too much exciting happened last week, but I'll give you some highlights:
- The kids all had their dentist appts- no cavities, so Mom is a happy camper!
- I spent most of the week preparing a talk for Sacrament, and a lesson for Relief Society. Ben also was speaking in primary, so we had a lot of reading and writing to do! It was a great experience, but I am very glad that it is over.
- We made our final offer on a home here in Nipomo. It isn't looking like we are going to get it, but haven't gotten the official refusal yet from the bank. If we don't get it, we are going to take a little break from house hunting until the fall. Our realtor assures us that there will still be some great deals in 6 months and since no one likes moving during the holiday season and in the middle of a school year, we should be able to find a great place.
- We had our colloquium on "Hamlet" with a guest facilitator who taught Shakespeare for over 40 years at our local junior college. It was great! We are hoping to have more guest "experts" at our book groups in the future. This month we are attempting Stephen Hawking's "A Briefer History of Time." Yikes, I hope my pregnant brain can handle the concepts! It was battle just getting through Hamlet!!
- We actually got out a saw some movies this past week, too. James and I went to see "Date Night" with Steve Carell and Tina Fey- SO funny! We are "30 Rock" and "The Office" fans, so this was right up our alley. We also took the kids to see "How to Train a Dragon." Very cute.

There will always be amazing deals - something will work out on the house front! Good luck!
We're heading to see the dragon movie on Sunday - should be interesting considering the girls keep calling it a boy movie. Uh, no. Girls can train dragons too - thank you very much!
