Well, the car James has been driving for the last few years finally died. It was a blessing to have it (thanks Mom and Lynn!), but it wasn't really James' kind of car, if you know what I mean.
We had it as our goal to buy him a "new-to-us" car for his birthday. Well, the first payment will be due 3 days before his birthday, so I say that's pretty darn close!
After looking online and at the car lot, James decided on a 2004 Chevrolet Malibu Maxx LT. It's sporty, roomy, in very good condition, has some really cool features (keyless entry, satellite radio, cd/dvd player, anti-theft system, on-star, etc.), and he loves it! It was an exciting day for him. This is the first car he has ever bought for himself! And, man, he deserves it! Happy Birthday, Babe! We love you!!

Yes, I actually took pictures as he signed the contract- I told you it was an exciting day! The finance guy thought I was pretty funny....or weird...same difference.
