Emma will be six weeks old on October 4th. That makes me kind of sad that she is so big already, but we are enjoying her immensely. Just this past week she has started to coo and smile. She had smiled at everyone in the family except James which was really upsetting him. Finally, she gave her daddy a big smile, and I happened to get a picture of it (see 2 pictures down)! She is looking right at him and grinning her cute, crooked smile!

She still sleeps an awful lot, but she is starting to have several hour stretches of awake time. She is very content to just sit in your lap and look around, and she definitely doesn't have a lack of playmates around here. I don't think she'll ever be bored! She is finally sleeping in her bassinet. Last night was night #2 in the bassinet. Previously she had been sleeping in our bed or on one of our chests. She prefers that, but occasionally I need to get some sleep too! She is doing pretty good at night overall, sometimes giving me a 4 to 5 hour stretch at a time!!

She got to wear a bunch of cute summer dresses this week! Can you tell this is my favorite one? :)
Bradley made her a bed on his Batman coach with his Star Wars pillow. :)
Benjamin is still in-love with his baby sister who he calls his "lover," and he likes to serenade her often with his own made up songs. Here are couple (they all sound very similar)!

How sweet she is and Ben just melts my heart if only the newborn stage didn't go so fast. She looks nice and healthy Holli!!!!
