When people tell me that they could never home school, I think it's partly because they think they have to teach their children everything. We have been very blessed to have so many talented people in our church and community that we have turned to when one of the children wants to learn something. Last week Savanna wanted to learn to make homemade french bread. So with the help of her friend Leena, we did. And it was SO good, and pretty easy to make. It takes a few hours, but it's not like you're actually cooking for hours. Most of that time is just waiting for the bread to rise several times, and punching it down. We are going to attempt some whole wheat bread next!
